ROCKET PRINT is part-owned by SOAR Printing, one of the big names in New Zealand offset printing. Within the printing industry, SOAR has more sustainability accreditations than any other company and was recently named supreme winner at the Sustainable 60s awards. Rocket Print is equally committed to sustainability. The philosophy of this print company is Ebusiness, as an online print management service. Their corporate customers reap all the benefits of speed and convenience with 24 hour access from any web-connected device. But unfortunately this kinds of logo types are looked like a toy company or store which feels unsuitable to the print industry. Also the logo does not look speedy which is the company’s philosophy. Sleek, shiny and minimalistic is the trend of today as well as connectivity with their work to represent what they do. ​

The new brand needed to clearly reflect the company’s recently defined brand values, which would subsequently enable it to be perceived as a world-leading, credible and highly professional printing organisation at the forefront of the print on a global stage.

It also had to contain three elements of the company’s soul – Client satisfaction, Speed, and Convenience. The new brand would be the benchmark that competitor organisations would aspire to. 

The solution was the embodiment of stisfaction and speed. The simplicity of the idea allowed for the slogan(Satisfaction, Speed, Convenience)to through the logotype - which became the unique icon that would be immediately recognisable as Rocket Print.
